JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for managing the development requirements for eligible employees.
Assist in the implementation of Succession planning framework.
Assist in the implementation and continuous monitoring of the CDPs.
Ensure career management initiatives are addressed and monitored periodically

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic
Ensure high level of development initiatives to all business units.
Responsible for the execution of development projects for eligible employees.

Talent Management
Manage and monitor the talent management initiatives.
Manage and monitor the implementation of UAE nationals training plans based on the CDP requirements.
Manage the career development program (coordination, communication..etc).
Conduct periodical one to one developmental meetings with employees in coordination with line managers in respective departments to obtain status update as mid year review.
Recommend challenging development metrics and targets to the L&D Manager to assess the performance of development.
Design and develop coaching framework, policy and process.
Conduct periodical coaching to identified staff to address specified development needs
Maintain records and prepare operational reports.
Support internal development initiatives that can lead to cost reduction along with a high ROI.
Manage Education Assistance scheme (EAS) to address employees’ knowledge- development needs.
Implement and monitor graduate development programs for UAE Nationals
Manage Internship program, design Policy and process.
Ensure to review all contracts between Aldar and local universities.
Manage the assessment centers for eligible employees.

Career Management & Career Paths
Assist in the development, update and maintaining the career path framework.
Meet with eligible employees and their line managers to identify their potential, way forward, challenges and development requirements on a periodic basis.
Perform gap analysis (required KSAs vs. possessed KSAs) for each position under each job family.
Provide periodic report to the L&D Manager on the progress of career paths implementation.
Succession Planning
Assist in execution of succession planning workflows.
Evaluate employees developments as per the set plans to ensure a proper execution;
Provide periodic report to the manager L&D on the progress of succession plans

CAPABILITIES / SKILLS

Business capabilities
6+ years of experience in a senior training and development position within a leading regional organization.
4+ experience in Developing succession plans and career paths
Excellent knowledge in job families (core and support)
Interpersonal skills
Knowledge of human resource management best practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical skills, organizational time management & problem solving skills
Proven skills in working collaboratively with business teams
Coaching skills
Education
Bachelors degree in business administration or equivalent is required
HR-related certificates (e.g., PHR, SPHR, etc.)

KEY RESULT AREAS

Implementation of development and talent management Initiatives.
Employee statisfaction with development performance through the yearly survey.
Implementation of career management, S.Ps and career paths programs
