Job Description

The Senior Specialist - Recruitment is responsible to facilitate the sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates for assigned vacancy portfolio as part of the overall management of the recruitment process according to HCT’s recruitment plans and sourcing approach, and with the aim to recruit the right competencies to the right jobs within HCT in a fair and timely manner.

3. Main Responsibilities

Operational:

Review applications for assigned vacancy portfolio to evaluate if they meet position requirements.
Conduct initial interviews with applicants and schedule for interviews with other concerned line managers.
Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
For Central Services candidates, verify credentials and conduct reference check once approved and waived by the candidate.
Provide feedback for the candidates as and when required as per HCT recruitment policies.
Prepare job offers and/or rejection letters based on templates and seek approval from the Recruitment Manager.
Manage recruitment formalities for local and overseas new hires (e.g. coordinating with Employee Services for work permit if applicable).
Coordinate candidate pre-employment due diligence activities and checks with relevant governmental entities.
Maintain a database of vacant positions and work on sourcing in line with HCT workforce plans as shared by other HR sections.
Manage the update of the filing system with all documents in relation to recruitment as well as the proper backup of data.
Prepare and send new employee orientation packages.

4. Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required e.g. Human Resources, Business Administration.
• Full English proficiency is required.
• Intermediate computer literacy is required e.g. MS Office, MS Project, Banner.

5. Experience :

• Minimum of four years of relevant work experience in Human Resources with a focus on recruitment.
